Queen Street Mill, Burnley

We are inspecting architects for the museum, which is a grade 1 listed building and scheduled ancient monument.

The mill is probably the last working steam powered mill in the world. It is operated by Lancashire County Council as a museum.

We have carried out a condition survey, a maintenance plan and Conservation Management Planfor the mill complex.

A major programme of roof and external fabric repairs are proposed to the mill and chimney. These have been tendered, with works due on site in 2015.
