Phase One – West End Stage One 2011-12, Stage Two 2012-13

 

Grants
A two stage grant has been obtained from the Heritage Lottery Fund and English Heritage, which will pay for the majority of the work, but this is subject to match funding from other sources. Most of the VAT should be reclaimable through another grant.

 

Consents
Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for the work has been obtained.

 

Tenders
The works have been costed and tenders obtained. The works can proceed once all the finance is in place.

 

Phase Two – Tower and Spire Stage One 2012-13, Stage Two 2013-14

 

Grants

Ongoing Works
An access platform survey of the tower has been carried out. The drawings and specifications for the works are being prepared.

 

Fundraising
The church will need to fundraise to gain the required top up funding for the work.

 

Phase Three – Roof to Church Stage One 2014-15, Stage Two 2015-16

 

As part of the grant for the tower there is an allowance for monitoring of the roof to determine the extent and speed of the movement.

 

A timber survey has been carried out and holding repairs are proposed, it is anticipated that these will be carried out alongside works to the west window.

 

It is anticipated that a further grant application will be made to the Heritage Lottery Fund in 2012 or 2013.
